Leading the UK delegation

Andy McLean, CEO of the UK Semiconductor Centre (UKSC), will be leading a UK delegation of semiconductor companies to SEMICON Taiwan this September.

This year’s delegation reflects both the breadth of the sector and the technologies shaping its future. Together, they represent a broad ecosystem of established businesses, specialist SMEs, high-growth companies and world-leading universities.

The UKSC team will be attending SEMICON Taiwan to showcase UK capability and help turn conversations into practical commercial, manufacturing, investment and research relationships.

The UK and Taiwan both have a long heritage in semiconductors and bring highly complementary strengths to the global semiconductor industry.

This year’s UK delegation includes companies and organisations working across AI hardware, quantum technologies, flexible semiconductors, chip design, photonics, materials and equipment.

Aegiq develops photonic quantum computers based on their proprietary deterministic photon generation and ultra-low-loss photonic circuits.
