We will have stronger global partnerships and greater inward investment

The UK will build and strengthen global relationships, with a clear gateway for collaboration that attracts inward investment into the UK semiconductor sector.

Scale-up

We will have accelerated the scale-up and growth of UK semiconductor companies

UK companies will gain better access to finance, talent, and global markets, by creating an informed investment community and simplifying access to funding pathways. Through better access to finance, talent, and global markets, UK companies will scale, innovate, and compete confidently on the world stage.

Ecosystem and advocacy

We will have a more connected and visible UK innovation ecosystem

The Centre will promote and advocate for the UK semiconductor sector. It will connect, build advocacy networks and unite the ecosystem to drive partnerships, innovation and growth.

Strategic roadmap

We will align and disseminate a semiconductor roadmap across the ecosystem

The Centre will align industry and academia behind a shared strategic roadmap, supporting delivery of the industrial strategy and leading to long‑ term action for the UK semiconductor sector.

Workforce and skills

We will have developed the skilled workforce the sector needs

The UK will build a diverse, highly skilled talent pipeline, supported by training and education pathways, monitoring and identifying skills gaps and shortages, and developing and promoting training and education solutions to meet industry demand and sustain future growth.
