Join the REWIRE team for a thought-provoking and engaging session as they explore:
- Why a circular economy approach is becoming increasingly important for power electronics
- Examine the environmental, economic and strategic drivers that are shaping the need for devices, materials and systems that are designed to last, be reused, and recover value at end of life
- Look at different case studies by leading experts in the field based at the REACT Centre at the University of Glasgow, Mitsubishi Electric R&D Centre Europe and Mondragon University
Speakers include: Prof. Jeff Kettle, Professor of Electronic Engineering at the University of Glasgow; Dr Thomas Guillemet, a researcher in Power Electronic Systems at Mitsubishi Electric R&D Centre Europe (MERCE); and Dr Joan Manuel F. Mendoza, an Ikerbasque Research Associate Professor at Mondragon University.
